Bert Vierstra Lovina; liar, Bali villas fraudster, pedophile?

Bert Vierstra has been making some very nasty falsehoods about me and my charitable business, including fabricating “evidence” against me to “prove” I do things and own anti-Indonesian web sites I do not. So first I would like to show what Vierstra is very simply.

On the 10^th August 2007, Bert Vierstra emailed me to say “I have removed the MA is behind balibs post”; a reference to a blog entry he made claiming I am the owner of Bali BS. He said this to get me to remove this (the original page) here, which I agreed. I checked on the 19^th August; his page against me had been reinstated plus he had put up yet more hate postings against me and my charitable work. Bert Vierstra is therefore a liar and as everyone know, liars are prone to doing it all the time.

Bert Vierstra sells villas and the land they sit on “freehold” to foreigners according to his sales site in English, Spanish, Russian, Mandarin, etc. but not in Indonesian. Foreigners can not own land or vacation property in Bali, period. Bert advertises one thing and then tries to convince foreigners that they get de facto freehold by using an Indonesian “name giver” under contract. These name giver contracts are deliberate attempts to circumnavigate the very clear Indonesian civil codes that expressly prevent foreigners owning holiday villas in Bali, fact. Sure many villas sales agents use the same tactics, but that does not mitigate Vierstra; I say he is clearly a con man, a fraudster, a thief.

It seems clear the reason Vierstra wants to create as much unwanted, often falsified bad publicity about me and a newsletter site called Bali BS, which I have never denied I helped the owner get started and have contributed material to (but which I do not own), is simply to deflect attention away from himself and his own proven nasty acts (fraud, etc.). I say Bali BS nailed Vierstra completely when they published an article showing clear reasons to suspect Bert Vierstra is a gay pedophile in Bali, only there by token of his sham marriage to a girl from a poor family, who now does very well (but not in Bert’s bed it seems), thank you. OK, now onto some of the things Bert accuses me of;

My Company’s Charitable Reservations site, Travel Ethos

Bert claims my company’s Travel Ethos charitable site is a scam that claims to be a charitable site while actually doing nothing for charity; he intimates even alleges I pocket the money. It is a fact that any and all commissions my site earns directly from the hotels and villas in Bali and Thailand goes to a charity there; in Bali’s case, the Bali Children’s Project. It is a fact that when hotels and villas in Bali receive statements from Travel Ethos these have the charity’s bank collection account on them. In fact, my “commercial” web site travelideas now works through my charitable site, Travel Ethos, so all direct commissions from that site go to charities as well.

Bert says that my web site Travel Ethos having web design tags that inform search engines it can not be held responsible for the content of third party sites, including the charities we support own web sites, somehow means they do not get any money from us. It is a pathetic falsehood / attempt at spin and clearly Vierstra is clutching at straws in order to try and defame me. He also asks why I do not personally donate money to either of these charities. That is none of his business and does not have anything to do with, nor affect the legitimacy of my charitable sites. As it happens, I did make a personal donation to one of the charities supported by my company’s reservations site, The Mercy Centre in Bangkok.

In addition the Travel Ethos web site functionality has cost me many thousands of dollars; yes, the money came from my own pocket. The most recent updates cost me $6000 alone, and Bert Vierstra says I need to make substantial personal donations on top to be able to claim any credibility; all this from someone who real evidence shows is a fraudster and worse. Vierstra claims I only did Travel Ethos to look good in Bali, but I have no wish to look anything in Bali and it is a fact I have been supporting charitable causes there for years. Bert Vierstra mentions my company and site by name in order for his hate to appear in search returns on Google, etc. if and when anyone searches for "Travel Ethos", as he knows I do not give a rat's behind about whatever he and his demented friends put on the Internet to show up for "Mark Austin Bali". He obviously does this solely to try and impact the amount of reservations Travel Ethos gets because it is my company's site and for that reason alone. The fact his efforts do not hurt me but solely, repeat solely hurt the charities I support in Bali shows Vierstra for what he really is.

I believe Bert Vierstra is clearly such a low-life, child abusing excuse of a man he needs to demean my own contributions to children’s charities to try and deflect people away from taking a close look at his own "credentials".

Suddenly, I am a hacker and Bert Vierstra is a hack victim!

Bert Vierstra the suspected Bali pedophile and his little friends have been claiming I am a hacker now, which is kind of funny as it was Bert Vierstra who discussed how to hack my travel forum site in 2004. Bert claims that discussion was not about hacking but about clearing your PC’s “cookies” for privacy purposes. However Bert’s discussion was not about surfing the internet without web sites being able to follow your movements, his discussion was about clearing cookies to get past the security of my web site so as to be able to post hate messages upon it using pseudonyms; in fact, alleged pedophilia king Vierstra even admitted posting a hate message on my site after he was asked to stay away, which constitutes trespass and web site defacement which is, that’s right, hacking.

At one point Bert Vierstra claimed / inferred I hacked one of his sites but it transpired the problem was his hosting company messed up big time. You see one of Vierstra’s photo sites suddenly got deleted and I was basically accused of hacking it! Actually hackers either get credit card or other personal details from databases, while others deface sites with typically political messages. Bert Vierstra’s site got deleted I understand by his own web hosting company for not paying the renewal fee; a fact he was later forced to admit, yet he basically accused me of being a hacker.

His basis for this was yet another idiot expatriate in Bali called Jack Daniels who one day sent out a ton of “Report illegal villas to me and I will shop them with the police” emails in an apparently drunken stupor and then blamed me for it; saying I had sent the emails out somehow through his system. Trouble is the electronic transaction information within these emails showed they came from Daniels’ web site email service and were initiated by Daniels’ Indonesian ISP account. So I hacked both his ISP user name and password and his web site user name and password did I? How come I did not delete or deface Daniels’ site while I was in there? How come I did not download his databases and then abuse (sell) or even publish all his customer’s credit card details? Oh please, it is a recorded fact Daniels sent out that email campaign, regretted it, and then blamed me for something I could not have done.

I wish I did, simply to be able to say “I own Bali BS” and then to get away from keep having to answer Vierstra’s ludicrous charge. I helped the original founder of Bali BS set up his site, now two of them I believe, yes. I will help any, repeat any lawful anti-Indonesian site, no problem. I do not agree 100% with what Bali BS does, but I still support them, sure. Any idiot can see I have played a part in providing information to them and I have never denied it. Vierstra and other single celled expats go on and on about Bali BS as if it was the official mouth piece of al Qaeda. The thing is Bali BS appears to be 100% legal and lawful, except if you believe the corrupt police and judiciary of Indonesia, which no-one does; just check out Transparency International! So owning Bali BS is not a crime unless you happen to go to Bali where the criminals are in uniform and act outside both the law and their jurisdiction.

It is ironic that Bert Vierstra’s main accomplice in all his defamation acts, Roy Thompson of Ubud, claimed on behalf of himself and Bert that I was paranoid about having my photograph published and that I owned Bali BS. But Bali BS have published a photo of me (actually worse, my passport scan which the Balinese police reportedly sold to Jack Daniels who then gave it to Roy and Bert); so which is it? Am I paranoid about having my photo published or am I the owner of Bali BS, I can not be both.

Also, it does not make any difference with respect to the problems I have with the corrupt mafia police of Bali as to whether I own Bali BS or not. You see I do own Nasty Bali and this site alone is enough for the chief of Bali’s police to categorize me as a terrorist (because my site terrorizes people he claims), for which I can be shot on site (really!). So why would I say I do not own Bali BS if I do? I mean the Balinese police will only shoot me in the back of the head once right? Sp why would I care if they kill me once or twice? That’s right folks, much as I would love to say "I do" in order to make Bert Vierstra’s dreary ramblings (and fabricated “evidence”) go away; I do not own Bali BS!

I conclude with this summary that Bert Vierstra must be a pedophile because;

a) There is so much evidence against him (not hearsay and fabrication as he likes to spread around)

b) Look at how he acts; trying to hack my sites then accusing me of being a hacker; getting involved with illicitly obtained copies of my passport from the corrupt police of Bali; working with Jack Daniels to try and “get” me; fraudulently selling villas to foreigners as freehold properties; demeaning my efforts to support children’s charities; falsifying material against me; promising of his own volition to remove things he has published against me and then reneging on his word; living a lie with an apparent sham marriage which allows him to stay and continue his acts in Bali. I submit the way Bert Vierstra acts is the same “MO” as an institutional pedophile.
